Greets members at entrance and checks membership cards. Checks member receipts at exit making sure nothing was counted twice or forgotten. Thanks member for their time spent at Costco. Performs security and safety checks throughout the day.
- Welcomes member in the warehouses and verifies that they have their membership. If forgotten, directs members to membership desk. Smiles, makes eyes contacts and maintains entrance/exit area clean and free from any elements that could be potentially dangerous.
- Assists queries and directs members to product and service locations.
- Uses the click counter for each new member entering the warehouse and communicates the number every 15 min.
- Greets exiting members and checks the accuracy and validity of receipts with what is in the trolley. Marks receipts if no mistake was committed. Genuinely thanks members.
- Reports to supervisors if a discrepancy was observed.
- Discreetly observes and assures smooth and safe operations of armoured deposit pick-up. Ensures security and safety in the jewellery area when members want to try valuable items. Activates control remote to inform police station that an item has been missing or suspicious behaviour has been detected.
- Conducts hourly building safety and security checks making sure that nothing obstructs emergency exit doors. Walks the building and perimeter. Corrects safety and security problems encountered, such as spills, trip hazards and blocked exit doors. Fills out reports and shows results to the duty manager.
- Ensures proper clean-up and disposal of any hazardous material.
